- A row of charcoal pits in Scotland reveals, without a doubt, that Neolithic peoples were taking

- We have now added content about the controvercial new findings from Professor Bryan Sykes
and the origins of the British people on our Neolithic page.
September 2006:
- A new Archaeology page to discuss discoveries in the news - and it looks like Scotland
has a lot going on!
- On the pages which feature Castlerigg Stone Circle, Neolithic and Astronomy, I have
basic You Tube video so you can see it from inside the circle (unfortunately, with unknown tourists in the clip)
- A new entry on the Folklore page on the Sidhe discusses local lore in Aviemore,
Scotland and we now have an entry on the Gwyllion.
- The Events page has had new festivals added from around the world - including the
Highland Archaeology Fortnight.
- For the weeks of August 31 and September 7th our Riddle/Anagram we will be offering
prizes above and beyond having your name immortalized on Pretanic World. For these 2 weeks only, the puzzles will be located on our new Wicker Man page, and we have prizes courtesy of Warner Brothers .
